Under the City Lights

As evening settles over Boston Common, the city skyline glows beyond the frozen Swan Pond, where hockey players gather beneath the winter sky. The warmth of the city lights contrasts with the cool blues of the ice, capturing a moment of energy and companionship amid the quiet of a New England winter.

I was drawn to the contrast between the movement of the players and the stillness of the surrounding cityscape. What interested me was not simply the activity on the ice, but the atmosphere of the moment—the reflections, the changing light, and the way an ordinary winter evening could become something memorable.
